
Jan Stevenson, CFO
Jan Stevenson is a long-time activist, publisher and business owner. For 14 years she has been the co-publisher of Michigan's LGBT weekly newspaper, Between The Lines. Prior to that she was executive director of the area's LGBT community center, Affirmations, and served on the board of the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force from 1993 to 1996. Originally from Ohio, she holds Masters Degrees in both finance and music, graduating with degrees from Yale University in New Haven, Ct., Drexel University in Philadelphia and the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music. She spent 10 years as a corporate banker in Philadelphia (1981-87) and Detroit (1987-90).

Susan Horowitz, President
Born and raised in New York City, she has owned and operated her own business since 1975 when she co-founded Tower Press, a New York printing and graphics company that grew to annual sales in excess of $1.2 million with a technical staff of 24 people. In 1989, she founded Pride Publishing, Inc., a graphic arts and publishing company and the publisher of the New York City Pride Guide from 1983 to 1999, a nationally renowned magazine that served as the program book and resource directory for New York Pride, one of the largest LGBT pride celebrations in the world.
Susan was the first executive director of the New Festival, New York's annual gay and lesbian film festival, from 1989 to 1993. Susan was actively involved in the New York LGBT community in the 1980s and was the co-chair and the Grand Marshall of the New York Pride March, leading 500,000 marching, screaming queers down Fifth Ave.! She served on the board of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in 1983-84 and again in 1993-95. She was a board member of the Seacoast AIDS Resource Center in New Hampshire from 1992 to 1994 and was on the board member of Affirmations LGBT Community Center in Ferndale, Michigan.

Chris Azzopardi
Chris Azzopardi, Associate Editor Chris Azzopardi has been the entertainment editor of Between The Lines, Michigan's LGBT newspaper, since April 2007. His work has been featured in numerous gay/lesbian publications nationwide, including San Diego's Gay and Lesbian Times, Chicago's Windy City Times, New York's HX and Bay Windows. He's also a contributor to Out magazine.
Chris graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's in journalism from Eastern Michigan University, where he served as a writer and editor for the university's newspaper. He began working for Between The Lines as a full-time staff writer just three days after receiving his diploma and was promoted to entertainment editor within a year.
